9-Day Kenya Luxury Safari

On this 9-day safari adventure guests will experience the Amboseli Reserve with its wide range of elephants. After Amboseli guests will drive to the Aberdares National Park and stay at Treetops, a unique tree lodge that overlooks a floodlit waterhole and a saltlick. Guests will then continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to thousands of pink flamingos; winding up in the world-famous Maasai Mara to stay at the Mara Serena Lodge. Come explore Africa with us!

Day 1

Nairobi – Amboseli

Upon arrival in the JKIA Airport you will be met by an “Amazing Memories Safaris and Tours” representative who will give you a briefing concerning your safari, introduce you to your driver/guide who will take you to breakfast. After breakfast you will drive to Amboseli National Park; the best park to get up close to free-ranging elephants, have spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and get the best snapshots of an true African sunset and sunrise. Other
attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later in the afternoon you will arrive at Amboseli Serena Lodge in time for lunch, and then take off for an evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park

You have several choices to choose from for today’s activities: Option one; You may opt to have an early morning game drive, return for breakfast, freshen-up and then take off on a mid morning game drive, Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure either swimming in the pool, having another game drive in the evening and then having dinner and turning in for the night. Option 2: You may have an early breakfast and proceed for a whole day game drive. Return to the camp for lunch and then spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Have dinner and turn
in for the night.

Day 3

Amboseli National Park – Aberdares National Park

After breakfast you will check-out and drive to Aberdare National Park traveling through Nairobi. You will arrive in time for lunch at The Treetops Game Lodge. The lodge is fitted with large windows fitted in all guest rooms, restaurant and lounge guests can drink in the sight of elephant, buffalo, rhino and more from all areas including the viewing deck on the top floor of the building. Die-hard animal lovers needn’t worry about missed sightings, even
into the early hours of the morning You will check-in, settle in for the night, have dinner and prepare for tomorrow's exciting day!

Day 4

Aberdares – Ol Pajeta Conservancy

After breakfast you will check-out and drive to Olpajeta Conservancy; arriving at Sweet Waters Serena Luxury Camp in time for lunch. Ol Pejeta is East Africa’s Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary. Ol Pejeta boasts an astounding variety of animals including non-indigenous chimpanzees and the Big Five. The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plans will guarantee you an unforgettable safari experience. Later in the afternoon you will take part in a game drive in the Conservancy. You will later return to the
camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5

Olpajeta Conservancy – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast you will check-out and drive to Lake Nakuru; arriving in time for lunch at Sarova Lionhill Game Lodge. Later you will take off on an afternoon game drive. The park lies in Central Kenya, in the Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem is comprised of the lake surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingo and many other water birds. You will see up to 56
different species of mammals including the white rhino, buffalo and a variety of over 450 species of terrestrial birds. Later in the evening you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6

Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast you check-out and depart for Maasai Mara; one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. This is the park where you will have opportunity to see the “Big 5”, and the wildebeest Migration. Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s
top safari big game viewing ecosystem. The Mara is globally famous for its exceptional population of lion, leopard and cheetah, and the annual migration of Thomson's gazelle and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Wildebeest Migration.
You will arrive in time to check-in and have lunch at Mara Serena Lodge. After lunch you will settle in, freshen-up and then take off on an evening game drive. You will return for dinner and your overnight stay later in the evening.

Day 7

Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast you will exit the camp; with a packed lunch in hand, to take part in a whole day game drive in search of the “Big 5”. You will later return for dinner and overnight in Mara Serena Lodge. The Lodge is located at the very centre of the famous ‘Mara Triangle' of the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Mara Serena Safari Lodge is the ultimate safari destination; set high on a bush-cloaked hill with long views over the savannah
and down to the winding coils of the hippo-filled Mara River. It stands centre-stage to one of Africa's most dramatic wildlife arenas with a ringside seat for the ‘greatest wildlife show on earth', the legendary migration of the wildebeest.

Day 8

Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will rise early for a morning game drive and then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will freshen up and take off on a mid afternoon game drive. You will return to have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure swimming in the pool and taking off on other game drives into the evening, before you return for dinner and your overnight at the camp. You may also choose a Hot Air Balloon ride (Optional) in the early morning where you will be picked up from the lodge and driven to the balloon launch site. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. The pilot controls the altitude of your balloon: Sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique
perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife that is below.

Day 9

Maasai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast you will check-out and drive back to Nairobi where you will spend the day with optional activities depending on your flight schedule. Later we will transfer you to the airport or hotel. This is where your safari will end.

Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour)
