5-Day Joining mid Range Safari – Serengeti & Ngorongoro

A classical 5 days of life time experience. Starting from Arusha, the ‘safari capital’ of Tanzania, this tour takes its participants on a five-day loop that visits two of the planet’s natural wonders – Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Travelers will be accommodated under average categorized accommodations, a mixture of tented camps and lodges a perfect balance of quality and price.

Day 1

Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha Town; 55kms/1hour drive

Arriving at the Kilimanjaro International Airport meet one of our professional driver guide who will introduce himself to you and warmly welcome you. He will introduce you to this wonderful town and transfer you to your designated hotel in Arusha.
After a long flight enjoy hours of relaxation.

Day 2

Arusha – Serengeti National Park; 335kms/7hours drive

Today you’re off to the famous Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. Unequalled for its natural beauty and breathtaking display of wildlife everywhere.
After breakfast, we collect our lunch boxes and set off on the long journey to the Serengeti. Along the way as far as your eyes can see, view the sheer vastness of Africa’s open plains unfolds before you.

In the afternoon, we reach Serengeti. Home to elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos and crocodiles. The Serengeti is also famous as a stage for the great wildebeest migration, which estimated to include over a million wildebeest and around 200,000 zebra. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Early evening drive to your chosen accommodation, inside the park for evening leisure and hot dinner accompanied with a talk of many fantastic experiences of the day.

Day 3

Full game drive in Serengeti National Park

Waking up in the Serengeti is a dream come true, the sight of Africa all around us without forgetting the sounds of nature. A full day of adventure in this world famous park is exactly what we need. After breakfast we continue our focus in these Great Plains maximizing our chance of seeing the most amount of wildlife in the least amount of time.

After our picnic lunch the focus continues in these plains ecosystem thriving off its millions of animals, its migrations, and its predator and prey drama. It is all one seething mass of life and beauty.
Early evening drive to your chosen accommodation, inside the park for evening leisure and hot dinner accompanied with a talk of many fantastic experiences of the day.

‘optional for an extra cost’- the famous Balloon Safari an aerial adventure that leaves you with an awe experience accompanied with bush breakfast and champagne after the tour at a cost of $545 per person. Kindly let us know in advance if you wish to book the balloon safari.

Day 4

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater; 145kms/3 hours 30 mins drive

After breakfast we make the most of the morning enjoying a final morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. In the home of more than 1.6 million herbivorous that attracts a thousand predators, it is almost impossible to spend too much time in these endless plains. Your driver guide will help you to spot more of these great species as the adventurous journey will continue as we travel up to Ngorongoro the 8th natural wonder of the world.

After a pleasant picnic lunch we head on to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, which is breathtaking for its landscapes as well as its wildlife. Upon arrival, settle in at the camp with leisure awaiting for hot dinner. Tomorrow the wonders of the crater awaits us.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater – Kilimanjaro International Airport; 245kms/4 hours 30 mins drive

Today is another day to enjoy another true spectacle of Africa. A jewel in the Ngorongoro is the volcanic caldera (the world’s largest), full of grassland, forest and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beau
Second is the permanent water of the crater floor which supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here you’ll find many of the reasons you chose to come on safari: elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, wallowing hippo, waterbuck, baboons… even the rare black rhino finds shelter here.
A captivating fact of this conservation area since 1956, are the Maasai people sharing this awesome space with the animals, grazing their cattle in an area which has been separate. This harmonious co-habitation of man and beast makes Ngorongoro unique in Tanzania.
At the end of an inspiring afternoon amongst the wildlife, enjoy your picnic lunch boxes before we return to the airport for your flight back home.
