13-Day Buffalo Safari, Wildlife and Cultural Experience
During this safari you will discover and explore national parks in Northern Tanzania, the best destination for safari. You will visit Arusha, Tarangire, Manyara, Lake Eyasi, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Natron and Kilimanjaro. Airport transfers and overnights at the beginning and end of the safari are included. Our professional guide will drive you with a 4x4DW jeep. Complimentary drinks and mineral water will be available on the jeep. You will experience also early morning game drives.
Day 1
Airport to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania!
Program: Pick up customers at JRO Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Arusha by private car for dinner and overnight in town.
Activities: If you have time you can have a town tour with your safari guide otherwise you can relax at the lodge.

Day 2
Arusha National Park
Program: After breakfast transfer to Arusha National Park for game drive and walking safari with park ranger.
Activities: game drive and walking safari.
Arusha National Park is a mountain park between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, it has a different landscape compared to the other parks. You can spot white and black colobous monkey, big mammals and flamingos in Momela Lake (Sept/Oct).

Day 3
Tarangire National Park
Program: After breakfast we drive to Tarangire Park for the game drive with pic-nic lunch.
Activities: game drive.
Tarangire is the river crossing Tarangire National Park, the park is famous for big herds of elephants, the huge baobab trees and the high number of predators. There is a lot to see and explore here.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park
Program: Before breakfast around 7 am we experience a natural walk with local guide in Tarangire National Park Conservation Area, after breakfast we proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with pic-nic lunch.
Activities: natural walk and game drive.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for biodiversity, the park includes different environments: the lake, the forest and the plain. The lions climb the trees because they don’t like wet soil due to underground springs. Rich in primates, birds and big mammals.

Day 5
Lake Eyasi
Program: After early breakfast you will meet the Hadzabe tribe, experience their lifestyle and follow the hunters in the bush. Then you visit another group, Datoga, who is experienced in melting metals and making tools (knife, arrow etc.). You can also visit a local village and walk on Lake Eyasi banks with a local guide.
Activities: visit Hadzabe and Datoga tribes and Lake Eyasi banks.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Program: After breakfast we drive down to Ngorongoro crater for game drive with pic-nic lunch.
Activities: game drive.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a conservation project where the Maasai and their livestock live together with wild animals.
Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

Day 7-9
Serengeti National Park
Program: After breakfast we proceed crossing Ngorongoro Highlands until Serengeti gate, here we start the game drive for these three days.
Activities: game drive.
Serengeti Park is the most famous park of all Africa, more than 15,000 squared kilometers of savannah full of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants and many other wild animals.

Day 10
Lake Natron
Program: After breakfast we experience the last game drive leaving Serengeti, then we proceed to Lake Natron.
Activities: game drives and activities at Lake Natron.
Lake Natron is a salt lake located in northern Tanzania, close to the Kenyan border, in the eastern branch of Africa’s Great Rift Valley. The high water temperature (up to 41°C) and the high and very variable salt content of the lake does not support most wildlife. However it is an important habitat for flamingos and is home to endemic algae, invertebrates and even fish that can survive in the salty water.

Day 11
Lake Natron
Program: Today we can go down to Lake Natron waiting for sunrise and see a lot of flamingos in the lake. Later we can continue our activities at the lake and proceed to Arusha where we arrive before dinner.
Activities: natural walk and Maasai culture.
Main Destination: Lake Natron

Day 12
Kilimanjaro
Program: After breakfast transfer to Kilimanjaro National Park for full day trekking with local guide. We start from Marangu Gate (1,830 m.) And climb up through attractive and unspoilt forest to reach Mandara Huts (2,700m.) The volcanic remains of Maundi Crater are nearby and make a good extra excursion.
Activities: Kilimanjaro trekking with pic-nic lunch.
Main Destination: Mount Kilimanjaro
Accommodation: Marangu Hotel – Mid-range hotel located in or near Mt Kilimanjaro

Day 13
Kilimanjaro
Program: After breakfast relax at the lodge or shopping in town if you have time, then transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.
Main Destination: Kilimanjaro Airport
Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour)

Tanzania’s most famous lake, this beautiful watering hole is where you will see a sea of pink as it inhabits thousands of Flamingo’s and over 400 species of birds.
