Day 1-3
Stay at the Serengeti’s first and only private house
You will be transferred from the airport to Mkombe’s House. It is located in the Lamai area of the Northern Serengeti National Park. Built amongst the boulder at the top of a hill, feast your eyes on an unending landscape, scattered with wildlife. Enjoy a laid back luxury with expansive multi-level viewing decks and a freedom to customise your own daily activities. The resident guides, take a great wildlife experience to new heights as you make acquaintance with Africa’s big game. Game drive is the preferred method of exploration in the Serengeti National Park. Bush walks are offered depending on the length of grass, with the intention of interpreting and encountering the small animals of the bush. Dining in the bush with the sounds of the wilds all around is a unique experience not to be missed. The swimming pool is the ideal place to unwind during the heat of the day. At an extra cost hot air ballooning is a wonderful way to discover the lie of the land or follow the Great Migration.

Day 4-6
Singita House, The ultimate Serengeti hideaway
You’ll be transferred to the Singita Serengeti House. While sitting on the wide, shady verandah overlooking the golden Serengeti savannah, you’ll feel immense gratitude for where you are: the luxurious villa you and your friends have called home; the 350 000 acres of protected wilderness on the Grumeti concession; the kind and attentive staff and the sense of deep rest you’ve experienced. And in this moment, a rustling will steal you away from your thoughts. A grey ear pokes into your peripheral vision and a herd of bull elephants emerge, sauntering up to the nearby water hole for a drink.
The abundant wildlife is truly the star of the show at this Serengeti outpost. Head out on game drive, walking safari or even on a horse-riding safari. To help you unwind there are pampering in-room spa treatments. If, after all the wining and dining you want to get your circulation going, challenge your mate to a game of tennis on the private court or do some languid laps in the swimming pool.

Day 7-10
Pure escapism & exclusive elegance on Thanda Island
If you’re looking for absolute solitude, then it doesn’t get much better than your very own private island. Enter Thanda Island, an exquisite and totally private piece of paradise that is Tanzania’s newest exclusive-use resort. Cocooned in eight hectares of squeaky-white sand and tropical forest, the stylish Cape-Cod-meets-Tanzania style villa sleeps only 10, so even if you do bring the family, there’s lots of space for everyone. And there are plenty of activities to keep them all entertained too with windsurfing, parasailing, scuba-diving, boating and snorkelling in the surrounding Shungi Mbili Marine Reserve all on offer.
With sailing boats, paddle boards, snorkels and kayaks at your disposal, it would be rude not to explore the stunning waters around the island and for adrenaline junkies, water and jet-skiing is on offer. To avoid wrinkly fingers, stay on land and chill out by the pool, take a cocktail making lesson or enjoy an al-fresco lunch on the veranda. The dream.

End in Zanzibar Airport
You will be transferred back to Zanzibar Airport in time for your connecting flight.
